—Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Parade—

The Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Parade on Saturday, March 13th. We are position #43 in the staging area which is located on Nuccio Parkway just south of 7th Avenue in Ybor City. The parade begins at 8:00pm and starts at Nuccio Parkway & 7th Ave. The parade will move east on 7th  Avenue to 20th Street and then turn left on 20th Street. The disbanding area will be along Palm Avenue between 20th Street & 15th Street. The float will be in the staging area no later than 4:00pm and all Krewe members are asked not to board the float until it is “parade ready”. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Following the parade, there will be a post parade party taking place at the Cuban Club. It will feature music by Direct Effect and Buster Castellano’s Band. Food from Latam’s and Marty’s Hot Dogs will be for sale. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door.

–Chasco Fiesta Parade–

The Chasco Fiesta Parade will be on Saturday, March 20th in New Port Richey. We are position #91 and will be staging in the parking lot of Gulf High School (5355 School Rd). The float will be in the staging area no later than 11:00am and there are restrooms and concessions available at the parking lot. There is parking available both at the beginning and end of the parade route. If you are planning on entering the staging area, please remember to enter the area from the south on Madison St.

The parade route starts at Gulf Dr & Grand Blvd and proceeds north on Grand Blvd. The parade will go around Orange Lake and then west on Main Street. The parade ends just east of US 19 on Main Street. PLEASE NOTE:  As per NPRPD, all riders will get off floats at Main Street and US 19.

Following the parade, the Krewe of Chasco will be hosting a post parade party in the parking lot of Hallilna’s Custom Interiors located at 5346 Main Street (1 block east of where the parade ends). The cost is $10.00 per ticket and includes your food and drinks.

As per the Chasco Parade Rules & Regulations, “Distribution of beads, candy, samples, souvenirs or favors from vehicles or floats along the parade route will be allowed. Balloons cannot be passed out”. Please remember to toss your beads underhanded to the crowd.
